Creating a memorable brand for a boutique millinery which create one-of-a-kind head pieces

To create a brand name that would resonate the bespoke qualities of the brand's products, I researched into the concepts of hatmaking, it's origins and source materials.

Sinamay is the textile used in much of hatmaking and so being an essential foundation, I wanted to celebrate this material. Weaving this story into the head pieces that would represent the core uniqueness of each customer. Hence the name abacá was chosen—deriving from the plant which this textile is made.
